					<description>I'm pretty sure that as the area is saltwater you don't need a license to fish there - a lot of people fish there so I couldn't imagine there would be a problem with any land owners and permits etc.. and since it's saltwater I wouldn't think a licence would be necessary either.</description>

					<description>Many years ago (1970's) I used to fish that section of the Wyre, mostly from Pool Foot Lane on the other side. Ragworm is a better bait there but obviously falls off easily. We used to use ordinary earth worms (stayed on better) and had bites every few minutes, almost always small flounder and small eels - size 8 or 10 hooks about best. Occasionally slightly bigger flounders but not really eating size. We used it as a very pleasant filler for the coarse close season. On a sunny day, just great. Bottom of Pool Foot Lane was fishable at most states of the tide. Low tide concentrated the fish a bit more, more bites. Use light ledgering tackle, 5 - 8 pound line.</description>
